The Lindsay Muskies edged
out the Port Hope Predators 4-3 in game two
of their East division quarter final series.
The win evened the series at a game apiece.
The Preds fired 53 shots
at Lindsay goaltender Richard Nerland but
had trouble solving him, while the Muskies
answered with 40 shots on both Billy Stone
and Spencer Finney.
Chad Dunlop and Tyler
Miller kept their hot streaks alive, each
potting a goal, while Brooks Mejia added the
third marker late in the third period with
the Port Hope net empty to draw the game
within one.
Port Hope will look to regain the advantage
in the five game series at home tonight in
Game 3. The puck drops at 6:40 p.m.
